K & L = Kandle Kidswear - Two Busy Mamas!

Austin-centric designs, including such creations as "Little Longhorn", "Austin Bat", and "Guitartown, Texas" make Kandle Kidswear a uniquely Austin business, and we are proud to have them as a 2009 vendor in our upcoming show, The Lone Star Ladies Present: Shop Austin.

Max, William and Kathryn are Kim Rodriguez and Laura Dooley's children and their biggest inspiration for Kandle Kidswear. They started their business in 2007 and sew original felt designs onto 100% organic cotton onesies and t-shirts, all of which are made in the USA. Their felt is 100% recylced and solution dyed so no run-off dye in our water system. "Cowboy Dinosaur" was the first Kandle Kidswear design - guess you could call him "prehistoric..."! Their designs are unique with an attention to detail, such as floppy spikes on their dinosaur, or a floppy wing on the "Monarch Butterfly" design.

With all their wonderful kids in tow, P. Terry's is their favorite restaurant, and if you are out eating at their favorite restaurant, you might want to look for their products at Whole Foods Market, Parts & Labour, Prima Dora, Wee, USA Baby, Eco-Wise, Waterloo Records, and Daisy Hill and of course, our show! Or maybe you caught a glimpse of their feature on FOX 7 News.

XO,
allison
